Been skiing il moro's for damn near a decade and krypons before that. that said, anyone here ridden both? Local dealer switched from carrying dalbellos to roxa - not that I can't order a pair, but curious if anyones ridden the Element 120?
After spending couple hrs online trying to find more info I've learned (roxa e120 vs dalbello id120):
Weight: e120 ~.9 lb lighter per boot
Pivot: d120 4cm lower (lowest in industry)
Flex: e120=d120
Modification: e120 back bolt w/ 3 settings to easily adjust softfirm while d120 could swap out the boot tongue but I never have
Same buckle structure and overall very similar boot. Both based off the cabrio design improving over the og flexon boot. Maybe its glen helping design the krypton back in mid 2000's and going to roxa in '15? His would be an r3 i would assume, but he works with roxa now not just a rider.
Would love some differentiating factors!!

I've been thinking about a pair of Roxas for my next boot after skiing on the Il Moros for the past 3 or 4 seasons solely because I want the heel hold of the Il moro but with a tad longer length which the roxas have for the same size boot I run. I've heard however that the two boots ski pretty different.

Ive been on krypton pros forever but picked up a pair of roxa element 120s two seasons ago and loved them for a season but the quality was just not there in my opinion. They were like a lighter version of the kryptons but just not as burley. Broken/bent buckles, my tongue came off the boot, and where the boot hinges broke. Lots of plastic and glue being used where it shouldnt. I really enjoyed the lightweight feel of the roxa and how they skied, maybe my pair was just a fluke.

I have a R3 130 (same thing as the Element just with tech fittings and a walk mode) and I love them. I did own Lupos (same as the Moro but again, walk mode/pins and a slightly different rear/upper cuff) and I personally never got along with Dalbellos flex pattern but that’s obviously personal preference. The lowest cuff hinge in the industry is all marketing, doesn’t make a noticeable difference to me, having owned multiple pairs of boots from FT, Dalbello, and Roxa (major 3 piece companies). The element is a great boot, I haven’t had any issues with my R3 and it’s even lighter than the element (usually light=less durable). I’d say try one on before you send it but they fit well (more precise/anatomical than the Lupos IMO) but TLDR they cool, they work
