Faction: Prodigy or Candide ?

This season I want to spend as much time as I can in the park learning small tricks, but I'll continue to ski mostly on groomers and doing off piste runs here in Italy where we don't get more than 20/30cm of fresh snow.

I want an all-mountain twin tip ski that could still be charged when I want to, and I was wondering which ski of the Faction line would be the best.

Are the Candides better for this type of skiing or should I go with the prodigys?

For the width, should I go with the 2.0 or the 3.0? What do you think?

The new 2021 Candide 1.0 and 2.0 have been beefed up this year with metal and rubber dampening underfoot to make them more solid for rail use but it also increased stiffness and weight for charging. The 2021 Candide 2.0 is now about 400 grams heavier than the Prodigy 2.0 in the 183/184cm lengths!

The Candide line has a stiffer flex and less taper vs the softer and lighter Prodigy line that’s more forgiving and playful vs the harder charging Candide line. 2021 Candide 3.0 goes to 112mm underfoot so a bit wide for mostly groomer use so I’d say the Candide 2.0 is your ski.

Just picked up a pair of the Candide 2.0 for similar use and they seem very solid although I haven’t skied them yet.

I didn't know such substantial changes had been made to 2021 line...
I was thinking about getting the 2020 Prodigy 3.0 but now I think I'll follow your advice. Thanks!!

I have the prodigy 2.0 and 3.0 2020, and the CT 2.0 2021, just need snow or resorts to open to try them against each other :|

Yes I've seen all the videos about their new collection, but like many ski manufactures does they don't say the real differences between each model and every ski seems to be capable of excelling in all conditions and types of terrain.
I'm still excited about what you've said to me about the revolt 104 a couple of days ago, it'll be a tough choice for sure.
