Hi All,
I've picked up a pair of armada arv 96s. I want to put some pivot 14s on them but my question is will the 95mm brake width version work or do i need to get the 115mm?
Thanks!

95 will fit perfectly. Worst case for bindings, you can always bend the brakes a little bit to get them to fit. You shouldn’t have to tho

95. I have 95s on all of my skis up to 108mm and they all fit without bending. Pivot brakes don’t come in towards the center of the ski like on the Griffon or Attack, so going too big means they’re gonna catch on each other especially skiing switch.

Perfect, thank you both. I was concerned about them sticking out at 115 so this is helpful.

For the future, the rule of thumb with brake widths is that you pick the brake size closest to the width of the ski, and if you're exactly in the middle of 2 sizes from the binding manufacturer, pick the smaller one, unless you want to bend them.
For example say you want to put markers on skis, marker do 90, 100, 110, 120mm brakes.
any ski width mm go 120.

The 95mm brakes on pivots are actually 106mm I think, you could put them on a 110 if you bent them. I have 115mm brakes on a 108 ski and they stick out a shit ton, it would be ridiculous on a 96

95mm will easily fit. You could probably have upwards of 105 before you run into issues.
