The ultimate debate

Now i want a clean debate no lows blows (ditch related) or dirty claims. This debate is between the two ultimate NS brands, the NS born and raised On3p going up against the all American Moment skis. Tell me who your favourite is and why they are your favourite out of the two company's.

Never ridden Moment but I enjoy ON3Ps cause I like how you can try to fuck up the bases but you really can’t. Unless you pull out a Glock and go at em.

edges are also burlier than every mf in the Salty Spitoon.

Im saying on3p because they started out smaller (not saying moment didn’t) but on3p had a harder time getting big with more unknown riders that are now known like jake mango. Plus the durability of on3p skis is like no other ski ive riden.

So difficult to decide, both make amazing skis. Ive got the Deathwish and Wildcat 108 from Moment, and the Magnus and Kartel 116 from ON3P. I was always on3p but over recent years i feel like ON3P direction is becoming more swerve skiing and less freeride, which would push me more towards Moment. So probably ON3P for more park and Moment for freeride.

Also the wildcat/bibby graphic story throughout the years is also dope, arbitrary in the grand scheme of things but when the quality of the product is so good it does come down to looks as well.

havent had chance to ride the wildcat 108s yet.
But between the Deathwish and Kartel is tough. Cos the Kartel are a really good ski for cliffs, pow and are really playful. But my god they suck in tight trees, i got it in a 186 and its a big heavy ski to throw about tight trees. Where as the Deathwish are a lot more nimble and still great for cliffs but arent as fun.
Id probably have to say the Kartel, just cos they are super fun to butter. But id probably go for the 108 cos the 116 suck in tight steep trees.

I was torn between getting the ON3P Jeffery and the wildcat for an all mountain and went with the ON3Ps for their durability reputation...it’s true...All of it. Didn’t get a scratch

Haven’t ridden either yet but just bought a pair of Wildcats. Moment for the freeride focus, absolutely incredible graphics, innovation (triple camber?!?), and being a bunch of rad fuckin people.

My bibby's from 2009 have outlasted my on3ps from 2013. That being said I like the rocker profile more on on3ps and they're a little softer. Not sure how the current models stack up against each other. I imagine durability is similar as I think they both use the same base material and edges.

My vote is for ON3P even though the graphics are pretty lame.

Lotta lil park fiends here gonna say ON3P despite never riding a moment.

From my experiences riding both imma just be honest and say I prefer moments more. The triple camber actually slays and the construction is top notch. Hell I spent 2 years on deathwishes and I literally toured on them, hit rails on them, skied shitty late season snow on em, skied pow days on em, hit street on em a couple times and even jibbed my tiny Midwest hill on em and they held up great for 2 years.

and let’s not pretend that the Bobby storyline wasn’t one of the greatest things to happen in ski graphics.


Moments just been around longer and has their shit realllly dialed in, I even picked up they’re frankenski park model this year and they knocked that one out of the park too

I like Moment's graphics way more and I want to ski the commander 118 just to see how it feels. I also would love to try out the renegades but for a big chargey boi like myself, I'd prefer Moment. That said, ON3P is so fucking dirty as well, and I'd love to get on some caylors if there are any big ones left.

Living in Reno & having owned a pair of Moment Night Trains I’d have to go with Moment. Such a fun ski & super durable, I even skied rails on it & had a great time.

I have a Deathwish and a Jeffrey 108 both new, haven’t skied them since I bought them over the summer. Each one is my first ski from each company and I can say that I’m so stoked to ski both, can’t decide which one is cooler. Both are so sick and both brands are awesome with great people.

Moment (*I still haven’t skied ON3P)

I have had the time of my life beating up my meridians for 3 seasons. They’re surfy and can smear and pivot like a fully rockered ski should but are stable at speed and aren’t miserable on groomers. Most durable pair of skis I’ve ever owned and the graphics are dope.
Last year was my first season with a pair of PB&Js in the quiver which unfortunately I didn’t get much time ok but so far they’re a blast too.

Moment because they make spots like this, which remind me of early 90's street skating scene. Moment's whole steez holds it down. No one else takes chances with their graphics and puts out such sick topsheets, year after year. I want skis that have the potential to scare away dads and little kids.

Its subjective, but compare any topsheet in Moment's lineup to something like the Hackel Pro or Jeffrey. This is taking nothing away from ON3P's ski quality and build, which are probably better for a certain type of skier.

I'm honestly just glad there are two companies this rad making skis with their hands in the USA.

Ngl comparing ski brands is a bit pointless, just ride whatever skis suit you regardless of brand.
Both brands have banger lineups, but Moment has nothing like the Magnus and ON3P has nothing like the Deathwish...
So whether or not you ski ON3P or Moment skis depends on what you're looking for in your quiver.
