FT Forward Lean

Rode a grass setup yesterday first time skiing this season and for some reason I felt like I really had to lean to put pressure on my shins. I added the spoilers from my old Salomon Ghosts and they feel better but im wondering if its worth dropping the cash on the actual FT forward lean adjustmenters.




There is a very very small gap between the spoiler and the liner idk if it rly matter tho

Also, is this a common problem??

i've had a couple friends talk about similar issues, dk if it was the liner or something else

might be worth it buying those chocks, from my experience they've closed that gap quite a bit

Full tilts just are more upright than most other boots out there. I had the same problem, went to a shop and they told me to get some booster straps and they ended up making a huge difference.

just rig a second spoiler in there if you need more forward pressure. I 3D printed one for my boots

The shims that come with FTs work great. I think I have some spares if you need them you can just pay shipping.

Thats not true at all, FTs and flexions usually have more forward lean than most boots.

Don't change your gear based on your first day on snow, especially if it was on grass, not snow. We're all rusty when we get back to skiing, but it's rarely the gear's fault. Ski a few days, get back into the swing of things and then decide if this is an issue. If it is, there are plenty of ways to fix it. But making big gear changes because you feel like shit at the beginning of the season is always a bad idea.
