Hesitant about this season

So I'm a bit hesitant about this season I have a job out west at a resort in Utah but I'm really skeptical of signing a lease out there with covid going through the roof. I know Utah doesn't want to close and that won't be their first option but I'm nervous that other resorts will close putting the pressure on Utah resorts to close just like last year. Is it worth taking the risk and moving out or should I wait until a better year. Appreciate any insight.

Honestly - it’s a big risk given the state of things at the moment. I would wait until next season. This is coming from someone who turned down a season job and rental in Australia a week before they shut all our resorts. Very glad I made that call. For me, the risk of being stuck in a lease I couldn't pay was too high.

idk man. and im not saying this as a crusty UT local at all. ive been reliant on PC and its surrounding area for work for a number of years and seeing how everyone pretty much was unemployed overnight really fucking sucked, ski towns arent just all 2nd home owners ya know. that feeling of being down the barrel of a loaded gun after moving your life out west for a decent amount of time would be a huge dealbreaker tbh.
