Looking for good training ski recommendations

Alright, so I may need to post this thread in TGR, but I'm Really hoping that NS can help first.

I'm looking to train for my level 3 (csia/ski instructing) this year and I need a new pair of skis/a size recommendation. I'm coming from a park and pow world and I know it's going to be a huge change but I want to have nice turns and look cool on the mountain. That being said I'm really unsure of the ski length and width that I'm looking for so any tips are appreciated

I'm 175, 6 foot "advanced" skier

I would honestly go with any of last years FIS slalom skis... if you’re going to be skiing hard packed and want really good looking turns. You’ll get super tight turns with great tracks. This is coming from a guy who’s raced most of his life though so it’s a really big change from what you’re probably used to. I would take a look into it however if you get the chance.

I've heard nothing but great things about the line blade, it's got a tight turn radius and it's apperently plenty of fun around the whole mountain. It's probably way more versatile than a slalom ski

Is there a particular width I should be looking for? I'll be training out west this year so do I got 90 underfoot or smaller?

Popular ski instructor skis-more on piste biased and a step down or two from a race ski so it more forgiving especially at lower speeds during training and testing. 170-177cm range for your size.

If you’re out west it all depends on how much inbounds you’ll be skiing. You don’t wanna screw yourself over with something too narrow but if you’re specifically training for the test and that’s all I would go for something along the lines of 80-90mm underfoot.
