MOMENT MERIDIAN MOUNTING POINT HELP

RodiganHey everyone, hoping there are some meridian riders out there that can help me out. I have last seasons 181's and will be sticking a pivot on there but the question is where? I hear -3.5 and i also hear recommended. Like someone else mentioned the TGR thread on this is super confusing so i will ignore that for now, help me out boys, what do you think?

I prefer mine on the rec line (-5), works great in a huge range of terrain. I think @tcurle rode his at -3, pretty sure some other athletes have done similar -3 placements.

If you want to ski any amount of park, are doing tons of flips, spins, switch riding or want to bump the maneuverability up a bit go +2. If you only occasionally ski switch, throw some threes here and there, or plan on hauling ass through variable terrain, I'd stick with the rec line.

Does it work in the park? Thought about buying one as my daily but wasn’t convinced that full rocker would be super fire for skiing a lot of switch and riding rails

Works about as well as any other 104-108 underfoot ski will on rails. If you're spending a lot of time in the park there's definitely better options out there but for the occasional lap I wouldn't be too worried.

Old school full rocker skis were typically fat and floppy, the Meridian is pretty stout with extremely minimal taper. Railing groomers, whether forward or switch, is a freakin blast.
