Coming off of ACL surgery I'm looking for brace and need helping finding my way through the internet. DJO vs. other brands? Custom vs. stock? What things should I look for?
Been using my Don Joy Fourcepoint Armour brace for 6 years now after multiple knee injuries, it's as good a brace as you could get really, there may be an updated version you can go for. Also worth checking out CTI knee braces, either will do exactly what you need without getting in the way too much, I regularly forget I have the Don Joy on.
Hope the knee heals up ok buddy!

the "knee support" things made from elastic scuba style matrial you pull on also helps a ton, keeps you warm and some decent support, not massive though. (the ones that smell like death after a while)
I played handball until I was 18-19.... just... dont do that to you body/knees.
Skied for years for10 plus years in a CTI2 custom knee brace. Went to a Don Joy Armor two years ago and have been much happier. Less interference with my ski boot, east to get on and off. The CTI2 always felt like it was slipping down my leg. The Don Joy stays in place and I feel like it is less restrictive. I can wear it all day and not notice it is there
