Hiking/Backpacking boots for flat foots

Im tryna get back into hiking and summiting, anybody have any good boot recommendations for people with flat feet? I don't have overly wide feet, they are just flat as shit

Ive been looking at HOKA's hiking line cuz I run with them but they don't look as durable, say as a pair of La Sportivas or even Merrels

I am seeking sort of a 1 boot for all type deal, where I can get out for long hikes and then climb a 14er without a hitch, so i'm leaning towards the Sportiva Eclipse GTX

I’d say get a custom insole if you can’t find an off the shelf insole that works for you. It’s going to be hard to find a boot that’s comfortable out of the box with flat feet

I have a pair of danner work boots that i’ve had for probably two years and they’re the most comfortable boots i’ve ever worn. I can work twelve hour days and my feet don’t hurt. Also held up really well over the past two years and u can get them resoled although the uppers would probably be shot by that point.

I love my Danner Vicious with the composite toe.

Idk man I gave up on hiking in boot back in highschool because they gave me nothing but blisters. Been using a designated cheap tennis shoes ever since and no blisters issues , each to their own

I buy those $150 msrp Nike running shoes for like $31 at the Nike outlet store. Pretty much the footwear for hiking Mt Hood or anyplace when you aren’t wearing ski boots

I use running shoes. Used to use superfeet inserts because I have flatter feet, but now I've been using the On Running Cloud Flows with no issues
