Replying to Utah Ski area postponing opening dates - TBD opening - Covid Related?

News from Solitude this afternoon. Opening day of Nov20th pushed to “TBD”. Reason stated is lack of snow. 24/7 snowmaking temps for every day in forecast. Just got 2’ of natural with 1-2’+ in forecast.

This is concerning. New Covid rules went into place today in Utah. (Masks mandatory, gatherings, etc.). This seems like a direct correlation to that, but they are calling it “lack of snow”

Huge red flag in my mind. If another resort or two follows with this, we are in trouble.
