I think I know who the ultimate replacement could be, although it would never happen.

Barak Obama. I may not have liked a lot of what he did as president, but the guy is great on camera, entertaining, and can speak in a very matter of fact way that Alex did. I would watch a lot of Jeopardy if Obama was hosting.

I think most people would be pretty down with this. Would be a nice nod to the game versus getting some random actor that tries to act like Trebeck.
