I don't see breck building anything over 40' this season.
Also to thread.
Get out and tour some cool spots
Keep old tricks, and learn a few more
Skate occasionally
Keep knee from exploding and maybe figure out what's torn and get it fixed

That's about it
You know I say and hear that about Breck every single season... God probably since like 2012??? But they still keep throwing it down for Freeway and have pretty healthy traffic thru there.
Imo, its cuz u can see it from the lodge and timeshare hives and is part of the "face" of the resort, so if they scale it back it kinda trips up their brand.
Maybe things might change cuz they were always racing park construction to meet the Dew Tour deadline... now Dew Tour is at Copper, and they dont have that goal line, so I guess it's up in the air!

Yeah plans were shrinking brecks park, and it had started to before the dew tour left. Vail kind if hates comps anyway but with that being moved they wont justify thw snow, same with going from 22 to 18' pipe.
Copper is the place to ride pipe in summit anyway.
And now with it being a covid year that will keeps things at least neutral or smaller.
I dnt want to say brecks park is dying but it's definitely shrinking. It's not to beaver creek levels but I'd be very surprised if they build anything over 45 again, probably over 40 honestly.
Having a major comp like dew tour makes a bug difference. Snowmaking is fucking expensive and a comp like that pays for all that snow and then afterwards you can build whatever or keep it similar. No way they're going to invest in the snowmaking to build jumps even close to that ever again.
Also Vail in general has a track record of nerfing parks. I'm interested to see what happens with big boulder and mt snow. Hopefully they stay park priority the way northstar, keystone and pc are. Those mtns already have a huge park following and the actual skiing isnt that great so i hope whatever mgmt decides to keep them strong. Well see.
Sht_eatn_dog_ski switch as much as possible
_learn all current tricks at much faster speeds
_make people think of jazz dancing when they see me ski
_eat ass

I've gathered some intel. This year only Park Lane and no half pipe.
