Replying to If you rounded up all the drug legalization posts ive made on the internet for the past 15 yrs...
... you would possibly get the sense that i may have been a non negligible influence on changing the herd opinion of drug legalization enough for oregon to pull the trigger and do the ultimate
PL-10 maneuver by decriminalizing small amounts of hard drugs. This will have a great effect of reducing overdose deaths because it will now be easier for dealers to get and maintain a consistent purity with their product, assuming they are able to get a reputable consistent supplier.
i know i made a large impact on the idea of pharmacies giving out narcan for free. I literally posted for yrs and yrs that pharmacies should just have a bin of narcan the pharmacist can give to anybody who buys needles from them, and that not giving out free narcan and clean needles was effectively making the statement, “we would rather have 1 abstinent person and 1 dead addict then 2 safe addicts who are able to use safely and responsibly.”
The pharmacies eventually started doing exactly what i said they should do which is have a bin of narcan to give out for free to addicts who buy needles.
you would probably say “bullshit dolan you didnt influence shit” but you would probably have creeping doubts if you actually got a sense of how much i have posted on the internet for the past decade and how many 1000 reply, 10,000 reads threads i have made on channel 4.
anyways.
sparknotes: everybody thank dolan for oregons legalization of hard drugs.
