Banshee Bungee Equivalent?

My friend and I have been looking to hit some rails at UConn for the longest time but for a lot of them you’d need a bungee or winch which we don’t have. Since the company already went under we started looking for alternatives and he sent me this image. Any chance it works?

That thing is like 6 yards long, you need more than 10 for any sort of effective bungee for skiing

Maybe if you braid 3 together, do that 3 times and braid those together you might have enough pull
