Bened_notnilHow long are you talking? Picture Organic Clothing has some long-ish jackets, and I Armada has (or had, this was a couple of years ago) a nice insulator that is pretty long.
animatorLike mid thigh length. I had an insulated Armada jacket a few seasons back that was nice but I want a shell. Rocked a Fuse Brigandine last year but it wasn’t long enough. I like when it’s long enough to cover my ass on the chair.
Bened_notnilyeah, Picture had one like that but they discontinued it. Maybe NWT3K? I think they will pretty much size their jackets to your body.
animatorAnyone know of brands that make tech shells that are long? I know Norrona has a couple but not tryna spend 800 beans. I want a jacket that runs a little longer without being boxy. Cheers
skeirmanI've been on this quest for 3 years. I have a Narrona and frankly it isn't much longer if at all than most others. I'm 6'4" and all torso and i'm kinda convinced at this point that no one makes long jackets that aren't huge all around. Virtika makes the longest shell I've seen but the rest of the jacket is also massive.
skeirmanTamok. To be fair it is as long as any other jacket I tried on (for the same torso size), and I think most folks do agree it runs long so thats gotta mean something. I guess maybe it just isn't long enough for me. Definitely worth trying on it could work for you.
Ill post a pic hold on...

animatorYeah I’m only 5’11 and I don’t have like an above average length torso so I’ll try er
patagonialukeTamok gore pro is definitely longer than average from my experience. That old Open Wear 3L was perfect, but RIP.
i’ve also been searching for the perfect long and slim jacket and the options are minimal. Hoping to try some of TNF’s options this year, but not getting my hopes up yet. BD Mission is kinda long but also pretty wide, probably not the best call.
.nastyI'm pretty stoked on the new Grands 3L Jacket from Armada. I've been riding their 3L Gore-tex shells for years and thought I'd only buy the Evers 3L Gore-tex jacket this year, but I was impressed at how thin and packable the Grands feels so I went for that. It has a longer freeride fit to it which is awesome, I'm 6 foot tall and the large is plenty long without being boxy at all. Not to mention the price is perfect at $320 I believe.

CatdickBojanglesSagas Monarch 3L is decently long and cheap.
animatorWhy RIP the Open Wear?
patagonialukeThey haven't produced anything new in a couple years and have gone pretty much radio silent since a year ago, unfortunately.
animatorThey still have stuff listed on their website though??
