Yung_GnarleyFirst off, get FKS's. All metal, and you can bend the brakes back. Never using a binding with plastic again. But yeah, maybe if the brakes flexed both ways after a release instead of just back/up they wouldn't break.
Yung_Gnarleylol at everyone thinking they need a new fks heelpiece when shit bends. downvote me harder! I'll just keep repairing my brakes. Also do you guys not think a dual flew brake wouldn't work?? I thought that was pretty slick :P
CatdickBojanglesHow can brakes be engineered to not break landing switch? Seems to be when 90% of them break. A pivot point on the brake maybe? There’s enough knowledge on here to figure out a solution.

evanballi think its just a case of the brakes not retracting far enough when you step in. If the brakes came up another 20 degrees or so it would be much more difficult or impossible to catch them at all. The design of brakes probably hasn't changed since the pre-twintip days so they were never intended to have that clearance that we need. Hard to believe the industry hasn't implemented a solution yet to be honest. (source- I used to bend my brakes purposely too far up and they never caught, but they didnt work great as brakes anymore)
