Jeffery is good in all conditions if you like to slash and spin and jump a lot



Woodsmen is good if you want to carve and go fast but still slash and jump

Billygoats are good if you want to go very fast and drop cliffs but still slash in powder

All of them will be slightly softer and less stable with the 50/50 core

get them with the grizzlycorn topsheet

I own a Super Goat (stiffer & longer Billy Goat) and a Jeffrey 116. I would say that the Super Goats definitely like to be driven more and is damper than the Jeffrey and can absolutely rage but at the same time they are fairly easy to shut down and maneuverable in pow. The Goats are the best ski I ever had for skiing fast in crud and are very stable when landing bigger airs. They are also surprisingly good when spinning, at least for a rather directional ski, but for sure have a lot more swing weight than your BCs. On the other hand, they are a handful in tight spots such as trees etc. and really come alive only at faster speeds, this might be an issue specific to Super Goats though, I would imagine normal Billy Goats to be somewhat more chill.

The Jeffrey 116 (I mounted it with a cast but standard layup) is still a fairly damp and stable ride (a quality all ON3Ps have) but less so than the Goats. It has the advantage though that it is more playful in almost every regard; it spins/flips and slashes with way less effort. It is better if you often ski trees etc. or like to throw tricks in to pow. It is also, way more lively than the Goats. Also, if skiing switch is a priority for you definitely get Jeffreys.

Also, if you often ski in non-ideal condition the Jeffrey 108 could be worth considering, it flows really well for its width and is way more stable than many of the other all mountain freestyle skis out there. It is my favorite ski ever and I can only recommend it, I use it as my daily driver in the Alps and it handles everything really well (besides straight up ice but that's not what you buy a 108 mm ski for). I'm also currently thinking about getting it in the tour layup.

I have never been on the woodsman but I imagine it somewhere between the Goats and the Jeffreys which should make for an amazing ski as well.

All the ON3Ps I own are in a standard or stiffer layup but I hope this still helps you to see the differences between the skis.

If you plan on skiing more directional and charge-y, id go with the Woodsman series or Billy Goats. I really enjoy my 116s a whole lot cuz I was in the market for a directional ski last season. Really versatile in most conditions though they were a bit tough in tight trees, but getting in/out of technical terrain, skiing steeps, driving the ski through crud, straightlining, etc, all felt pretty stable. A somewhat burly but also forgiving ski when you get bucked around a bit or take landings deep but probably the most fun ski ive ridden in pow. Lots you can do with them, its fun getting creative on these.

Yeah i think the woodsman or the billy goat are what I'm looking for because my bc 100s seem similar to the Jeff's, also i don't have to worry about trees because the mountains in nz don't have any on them.

You can definitely drop stuff with them, they are a really solid landing platform with a big sweet spot and handle choppy runouts really well.

I ski a pair of Jeffrey 116 in a 186. They honestly ski all conditions better than they get credit for. Super poppy, fun skis, they float well too. Mine are mounted with pivots so I can't speak much to touring on them but I can imagine they're adequate. If you're more of a freestyle oriented skier I can't recommend these skis enough, but whatever you choose you'll be blown away, ON3P lives up to the hype. As far as custom top sheets go there is no wrong choice. Plain black with the classic bottoms would be pretty gangster tho.
