Mods, can we have an auto-delete feature for anything discussing TikTok? Thought this was a skiing site lol. So many threads made about "annoying TikTok skiers" while the OP is also a TikTok member. Do they not realize that everyone on TikTok sucks?

Also unpopular opinion but I've seen it a couple times now so I'm gonna call him out on it. Cody Wilder Ray used to just randomly comment or duet some kids video and say "PoSt A CliP bRo" when they're just having fun making off season vids. Like we get it bro, you're sponsored and pro.

No disrespect meant to Cody tho, dude slays on skis. I just had to throw that irony in the mix- I’m guilty as hell of hating on stuff, especially when it comes to calling out tricks for “counting” vs “not counting”. It’s healthy to get called out on hating even if it’s inadvertent.

Nobody is a saint, nobody is perfect. Skiing ability isn’t related to someone’s personality at all. It just contributes to how many people look up to them.

The hate towards tik toker’s is all about seeing people get undeserved attention (they go viral, but can’t ski well). But in a sense, it is deserved, because they cracked the algorithm and did numbers. The audience of people who don’t care about their skill is much bigger than the audience of people who do.

That’s just the reality of social media these days and it’s not gonna stop anytime soon. It’s the reality of our world, the amount of hard work you put in isn’t necessarily proportional to your success among others.
