In collaboration with Gilson Skis, we're excited to announce our first ski design contest in many years. Our previous design contests have yielded some of the most out-there, infamous topsheets of all-time and we expect this one to be no different. @GilsonSkis has been a great friend of Newschoolers in recent years, contributing widely to the site and providing us with our Newschoolers Awards trophies last year. We’re stoked to be offering you the chance to design your dream, or nightmare, full topsheet, and base ski design this month and excited to see what you come up with.
The winner will receive two pairs of their winning ski, and all other top 10 ranking designs will be given the opportunity to purchase their work on a ski at a special price. All entrants will receive a $75 discount code to be used on any pair of Gilson Skis. The winning design will also become publicly available as an option on the GilsonSnow.com website for the remainder of the season.
The rules are simple:
-Create your best topsheet & base design
-Post it in this forum
-Tell your friends!
Note: Entries with profanities, ill-mannered content, or that breach copyright will not be considered as winning entries.
Prize:
Grand prize: Winning participant wins his/her design + extra pair for a friend.
Secondary prize: All top 10 ranking participants have the opportunity to buy their creation at a special price.
All participants: Receive a promo code for 75$ off any pair of Gilson skis.
Judging:
The team over at Gilson Snow will be the final judges but will be taking into consideration community upvotes.
