Trumpkin2020Your thread triggered me cuz I paid $250k but then I realized I don't have an arts degree
yungonaeating some sushi... totally going to take a fat shit later
vibecheckSo many colleges r so corrupt
theabortionatorI mean people are kind of dumb when they're 17-18 and when it's been forced down your throat that you'll die in a dumpster if you don't go to college it's understandable.
That said I think with college debt being talked about as well as people crushing it in the trades I think things are changing more. Honestly college tuition costs are ridiculous, and it's actually worse imo that they give people those loans. It just makes it so that colleges can charge whatever and bone people out of loot. Then everyone comes out with some shot degree and crippling debt. Also the fact that you can't declare bankruptcy for that is wild.
Idk, I'm glad I didn't go. Would have liked to, but couldn't afford it. Thanks America.
MiIfHunterI shit bricks!!!!

DolanReloadedYoure completely right about the tuition/loan relationship. Colleges are pigs but tuition would be lower if there werent as many people lining up outside the colleges door with a 200k loan in their hand. Colleges charge these ridiculous prices based on how many idiots are willing to spend 50,000$ a year to drink and party and write fucking papers. They could drink more, party more, and grow their brain more by watching math and science videos instead of writing cocksucking papers, if they just stayed at home and it would cost like 10k a yr instead of 50k.
IdahoeAs someone who just graduated high school, unless you are in some sort of schooling(college or trade school) or have a connection to get a job, you are fucked as far as getting employment. all of my friends who left home to try to become independent are going from big city to big city trying to find jobs, and they can't.
Charlie_KellyTrades need to be pushed more in HS. They pay really well, are in demand, and cost a lot less than going to a 4 year school.
My yearly salary is almost as much as I owe in student loans after 4 years of schooling. I have been out of school for 4 years. It took time, multiple jobs and promotions, and the foresight to get a degree in something where job opportunity would be everywhere. Gotta be strategic with your future sometimes.
skiermanI'm fairly certain he doesn't know what I.Q. is......

r00kieDon't forgot that the government is charging an interest on these loans they give out, essentially taxing education.
MiIfHunterSays the person that goes to a Christian school
r00kieYour point?
skiermanThe only things I trust Christians with are adult fairy tails and my 7 year old son who the priest said looked cute in tighty whities during his baptism.
zuesCollege is just a business now.

TOAST.Having an educated population is a bad thing? Sure I dont want my taxes paying for someone else's education at it's current absurd costs, but if it was a more reasonable number I wouldnt have a problem. That would be tuition only as well, nothing else.
I lived at home during college (I realize not everyone is able to do that) because I didn't want to come out 200k in debt, so I have little sympathy for people that i grew up with that got the "college experience" but are now paying for it.
weastcoast1. Go to a cheap, local school
2. get a degree in something you can actually find a job in
i see all these kids paying 50K a year just to party and bullshit their way thru classes and still have no fucking clue what kinda degree they want and end up just wasting money.
all that shit is partially why the student Loan crisis exists
skiermanJoe Biden gonna be your president. Bitch.
DolanReloadedNah. Just like the leftists who printed t-shirts after trump won that said “not my president” im going to claim that biden was elected because of russia collusion and try to impeach him for 4 yrs
