ONTARIO HOMIES: Lets go to BC

So I imagine there's a few more folks who are kinda stuck in Ontario this winter. So, who's down to throw together a March roadtrip out to BC and bum around/ski for a few weeks? Would like to keep it cheap, so camping/couch surfing is gonna be the name of the game. Lets get the fuck out of this province.

was planning on going to sun peaks to work this winter, but I get the general feeling that covid is gonna take a load of fun out of the equation for working on resort. Personally, Id rather hold it down here, work, enjoy some pvc, and save that $$$ for the future. Good luck chief

Fair enough. I didn't feel like dealing with the shitshow that is gonna be employee/ski bum housing this winter, but it would still be dope to get a little pow in. Where are you at anyways? Would be cool to maybe link up and shred some pvc.

I'm from Collingwood but moved out to Kelowna for school this year. I'd be down to meet up if anyones coming out here. I'll also be home for a few weeks at Christmas skiing blue mountain.

Yeah, I'm broke asf right now, so this hinges on me finding a job. I'll keep bumping it through the winter and see who's down.

Ex Ontario boy here, im in southern qc now. almost certainly gonna be down one roommate next semester, so I’ll have a room free for crashing. If a few ppl make it out we can do a week skiing sutton, orford, bromont, owls head. I know its not bc, and brome is the only place with a halfway decent park, but if theres good snow this winter could be a time smashing tree runs out with some homies.

im hearing rumours whistler may close..... I'd say 2/10 rumour at this point though ahah. but ppl are going as far as buying 5 day edge cards to use so they dont use their pass, as apparently if the resort closes and youve used your pass 7 days you wont get money back (in the fine print of the epic pass or wb pass apparently?)

That’d be dope, I know I was gonna try and get a few days out there this winter. Haven’t skied Sutton in years, but used to love going out there. I know @CalumSKI and a few other dudes are out that way, we could get a janky crew going for a week or so
