anders_aI have sakanas, and pescados, convince me to put cast/shift on them
and BC120s on shifts.
deathwish with pivot 18s were snatched under my nose here now, $300 :(
I can't speak about touring on the Pescados, but the Sakana's performed much better than I expected. Obviously, its a really light ski which helps on the uphill. On soft spring corn it was super fun to carve on, and even in deeper powder, it was still a ton of fun. The Sakana is definitely one of my favorite spring skis ever, and it's a blast to tour on.
I had a pair of BC120s a three years ago, I mounted them with some frame bindings and got 5 days on them in Nelson, BC's backcountry. Then I came home and had them and some J skis Whippits stolen out of our garage that night >:(.
I got a pair of deathwishes last March and got a few resort days on them, and a ton of touring after covid hit. they are my all-around favorite ski ever and would be happy with just those. 300$ is a hell of a deal
