RudyGarmischTo level set - there have been ‘Tour’ variants and custom options through the years, but this years tour construction with different base/edge is a significant departure from previous materials.
In general, tour variants I’ve skied over the years are lighter, but there’s some cost. They don’t slice through chop on edge as well as the full beans stock layup. The flex is a little on the softer side, but I’d say the biggest difference is underfoot - maybe from 9/10 to a 7/10 going from stock to tour. It’s a rounder flex profile too.
I currently have a set of Jeffrey 108 Tours with kingpins, but I’m actually considering remounting for pivots. It’s a phenomenal spring ski for getting weird on.
