I lived up there all during college and still keep up to date with people there and happenings. I believe the State is still pretty strict as far as bars and restaurants go so that might be hard for any party going.
The access road has a handful of good spots to drink and party if open. Can kinda hop around bar to bar.
Id try to rent a condo up close the ski area depending on what is available.
No strip clubs in Rutland, unless one has popped up recently, but given the talent down in RutVegas you don’t want strippers there.

Yeah not too worried about the strip clubs hahaha, currently looking at a condo in the whiffletree complex. What are the lift hours during the week?
I’m assuming hours will be normal. Only big change is no early/first to open this year. They said they want top to bottom and more then 1 base lodge and lift for Covid shit/spread the people out.

Sunrise Village condos are pretty dope from the few times I've stayed there. Kinda on the edges of the resort, but the first run of the day/last run of the day to get to and from the condos there are sick.

rutvegas gentlemans club is an eye opening experience.
-olivesnot too bad. my homie was living out of there two summers ago. wasnt bad then and they've been updating the exterior since the summer through now.
Yeah I got a recently remodeled one. Some of them looked super out of date. I’m going to be drunk 90% of the time so it doesn’t really matter much.
Killington is a dope spot for a bachelor party. If this is a regular year you would hit up sushi yogi or The Lookout. Pickle or Wobbly Barn for nightlife and Jaxs for a chill night. See what happens in the next few months, you should have a blast. RutVegas hahahahh
Not trying to be buzz killington but you should probably know this regardless if you intend to follow it or not. As far as I know it's honor system lol
Yeah, no one is following that. They expect all of NYC and Jersey to do that. Lol. Weekend trips all winter long from Metro area up to ski areas. Shit show.

Or you could respect another states guidelines and not be a fuck....
They really can’t. That’s the one issue. It’s up to the people traveling to, which is not happening.
And with ski season coming soon the influx of weekend ski trips from Metro areas is going to sky rocket.
This is just not a Vermont only thing - all areas will see this and a lot have already been seeing it
Also, I don’t live in VT currently. I have before, and know the area and winter demographic. I currently live in Utah where the Covid cases are as high as they have ever been and not slowing
a_pla5tic_bagHow do they even intend to enforce that?
Guys don't get mad at the dude saying people won't follow rules. He's right. They aren't following them now. As long as there's no penalty, people will just lie and say they followed the rules.... Especially the assholes from NYC and Boston. Then there's the whole dynamic of people ignorant to the actual rules of the state while thinking they are following them.
Honestly I wonder if VT might change their rules cuz as they are worded right now, if all people follow them, their ski areas and local businesses in ski towns will be decimated by the end of winter. Out of state visitors make up a majority of tourism income and tax revenue. Considering the dynamic of skiing, I don't see why it isn't possible. They could even go as far to adopt a model like Hawaii.
