Best mountains of the east

I was just wondering peoples thoughts on the best mountains on the east coast. I’m also only concerned about the best terrain, parks, snow, etc. I don’t care about things like amenities and lodging. Personally my favorite is killington because of the shear size, varied terrain, and pretty nice parks.

Tbh Killington with Woodward looks >>> than mount snow. Skied Snow last winter and wasn’t impressed.

I found that Tremblant has had the best snow. Both Gore and Whiteface have pretty good parks and off piste skiing but when I've been there early in the season they had a lot of closed runs and not many features set up in the park. I've heard that Mt. Washington has bowl skiing in Tuckerman Ravine which is pretty rare for the east coast.

No way Tremblant has the best snow, especially if youre on groomers. Le Massif and Mont St Anne in quebec city have way more snow and from my experiece have way less ice. St Anne also has a pretty decent park, but I agree that Tremblant has the best park.

Killy needed a better park to be top dog in the east, and I think woodward did it for em. If you're looking for the BEST hotlaps on the east coast though, you need to go to MSLM. Absolutely insane.

I've never skied around Quebec City, only gone sledding there. It does snow a ton up there though so you're probably right.

Best parks are Mt Snow, Killington, and Loon. If you had to pick only one its Killy hands down. Mt Snow and Loon have good parks but the rest of the mountain really lacks. Killington has both good parks and good terrain. They also stay open for such a long time.

I love Killington but I wish I could spend more time at Sugarbush. More laid back vibe better snow (further north) but it adds another 45 min to my 3hr drive to K. I’m getting to old for 3hr day trips hahahhahha

Mt snow is meh but carinthia used to be straight fire, it's a little less amazing these days but still has an entire peak covered in features from tiny to rull big and like this^ dude alluded to, it's got a fun scene. I think it's the best place in the East for wolf packing up with chill strangers for laps

Gore is pretty sick. They also have a park, it's not good ever but it's there and there's a decent amount of space dedicated to it. Layout of the mountain is great, some dope steeps, good snow, a lot of trees.

I feel like loon is always a little underrated for parks. They've been casually killing it for so many years.

Will be interesting to see what happens with mount snow and big boulder now that vail.

Jay: insane snow, unreal trees, decent park and 0 crowds

Whiteface: You can get 1000 vert of Steeps, Trees & Park all in 1 lap. Very mellow vibe and when the snow is good it’s hard to beat.

Killington: So much variety and acreage it’s impossible to have a bad time. Can get a little crowded but the resort handles it well

Jay Peak. Runs dirt cheap lift passes for students, never has huge lines, good snow, and the park is pretty good.
