So the plastic bit on the brake arm on my ski has somehow got chipped, leaving a nice pointy bit of metal which is begging to get snagged on whilst riding switch (see pic)
Due to a previously broken brake, I have the same plastic part on an unused brake (see picture below). Ideally I want to take the good plastic part off the spare brake arm, take the chipped part off the brake on my ski and then glue the good part onto the brake on the ski. Does anybody have any idea how I can get the black plastic part off the brakes? I’ve tried a hairdryer to loosen the glue (same sort of theory as taking grips off poles) but no luck. Any other advice would be great
