Replying to Just ordered Daymakers now what?
Just ordered a set of Daymakers to do some uphill travel. I'm on the east coast so my tours will be limited to resort and nothing long. Mainly just for the extra exercise and trying something new. I won't have the most ideal set up but just to start I don't think it will be bad. Here's my long list of questions:
1. What skis should I use? (Jeffrey 96s, Vishnu Wides, or Hellbents)
2. Should I worry about the skin glue affecting the ski I choose? (They won't be used exclusively to tour)
3. What skins should I go with? (Currently looking at Big Sky Mtn Products)
4. Should I just look for a lighter ski and binding set up 2nd hand for cheap?
5. Final question touring in FT First Chair 10s any advice?
Any and all advice is much appreciated
