No_Gorby_GapI have the softer flex on my custom j 108s and they’re still pretty darn stiff. They still do pretty much anything you’d want them too. Definitely one of the best skis I’ve ever had. If you want something softer I’d go for the Magnus 102.
TreewellMagnetI got the softer option and it was too soft for me. Thought that with my lighter weight the softer/lighter custom kartel 108 would be perfect... but unfortunately turned out not to be the case. Felt they were much less substantial than my kartel 106s for some reason... and I'm 5ft 6, 145 lbs - pretty competent all round skier. Would recommend softer mainly if you want to do more buttering/flexing tricks. Otherwise I felt that it made the ski alot less predictable and harder to hold an edge. So much so that I ordered a normal flex Jeff 108 and am selling my softies.
r00kieYou really Tanners cousin OP?
TannerhalscousinHow does the flex on those compare to the Magnus 90s, also would you consider selling them to me? What topsheet
TreewellMagnetIts a 171 length Jeffrey 108 from last year. Drilled for 292 mm boot sole length (25.5 boot size) salomon shifts on the line. Top sheet is the Canadian Eh topsheet. In Calgary, Canada. Would prefer to find a local buyer.... but where do you live?
Never skied the magnus, but I think it's stiffer.
