.MASSHOLE.I may be wrong here, but I think it extends beyond the killing aspect of African-American and police relations. It has to do with the actual policing itself. African-Americans feel as if they're treated differently than Caucasians when dealing with the police. They may very well be right, I know there's data that supports this but there may be data that goes against it.
The killing of black men is just the straw that broke/continues to break the camels back for many.
zuesSolid take and probably right. I can admit that blacks are definitely targeted more than whites, but the crime statistics by race properly correlates with this targeting, unfortunately. All i'm going to say.
r00kieIt's a bit of a self fulfilling propecy though. If a demographic is targeted more, they will make up more of the crime stats meaning they will be targeted more and on it goes.
zuesI'd be interested in seeing some statistics on crime calls or whatever. How many white people call police, how many non white people call police, for what reasons regarding what ethnicity. Probably an extremely difficult thing to provide statistics on though.
As a white man I've been arrested three times, One minor offense in college, One breach of peace after college, one big offense - interfering and assault on a police officer. Got slapped with a misdemeanor for that one thankfully. Easily could have been a felony. Thankfully I began cooperating once i was brought into the station. That definitely taught me not to drink and drive, or to drink too much in public. That's always how i get in trouble. That was some years ago, and I'm definitely cognizant when drinking now. I'll never want to deal with paying a lawyer, missing work for court ever again, that was punishment in itself. Another arrest and i'd probably do 30 days in county.
Needless to say I've learned my lesson, I pity people dying at the hands of police, but long time criminals like George Floyd with multiple felonies and a huge criminal record are going to get it at some point, you're playing with fire when you're consistently breaking the law. Cops are assholes, we all know that, the secret is to not be an asshole back. Stop breaking the law and people will stop being murdered by police.
ronders_The cops should have killed you.
zuesOh man what a tolerant lefty. wishing death upon people is pretty cool man. Congrats

ronders_Don’t break the law then, motherfucker. You had it coming how I see it
skiermanDidn't you post about how black people are responsible for getting themselves killed in police encounters?
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
zuesYea, guess i'm lucky, since cops kill so many people you know. DERP

ronders_My friend died in a twisted heap of metal covered in manure in a farm field because of a piece of shit drunk driver like you. I have zero tolerance for that shit.
zuesI wasn't driving you fucking idiot.

ronders_You got off easy and then say that others in that position “had it coming”. You’re fucked in the head. Interference and assault of an officer? Let me guess, “but I was drunk!” But George Floyd was on fent so he had it coming?
zuesBecause saying people breaking the law automatically means they're black. You're the fucking racist here bro
Monsieur_PatateI think they're just pointing out the hypocrisy of your past comments on how black people getting shot/dying during their encounters with police "deserved it" but you somehow not being deserving of the same fate when you assaulted an officer. They think it's ironic and worth pointing out.
I assume you weren't able to find a tutor to help with your reading comprehension skills yet, so I'm jumping in to try and and help in the meantime. :)

yungonaThe real issue with blacks is America is that there is no family structure. Most black children do not grow up with fathers.
eheathNice racist stereotype dude.
Charlie_KellyUnfortunately he’s not wrong...

Ans here’s some things a fatherless household can lead to...

Probably one of the biggest problems facing African Americans today, yet know one really talks about it.
I wonder if Biden’s ‘94 crime bill helped contribute to this...Id venture it’s plausible.
eheathIts not the fact that they have a higher number of single parent families that's inherently racist, its him generalizing that this is the reason why African Americans have a hard time in America.

yungonaSo I’m racist for saying that split black families leads to less academic achievement and more crime? This is the reason blacks have a hard time in America... It’s not racist to say that...

eheathAgain, the fact isn't inherently racist, I think hearing about it over and over gets a bit racist, nobody talks about how native Americans and Latinos have similar numbers, yet you only see the stereotype about African Americans, which makes it racist to me. Even if you don't think its racist (which is fine, I can see that side too, this has a couple of perspectives) its still a generalization to say that children with single parents are inherently bad.
Saying that the reason African Americans have a hard time in America is because they have more single family parents its just not true, systemic racism is the reason, which you could argue is why African Americans are more likely to be poor and maybe why they have more single parent families, but you can't ignore the core of the issue which is systemic racism in America, not because they don't have a dad.
yungonaAgain, I’m not saying that a child without a father is “inherently bad” I’m saying that statistically a child without a father has a less chance of academic success, a higher chance of going to jail, etc. I didn’t mention the Hispanic population because that wasn’t really the subject. Anyways, I have no ill will towards African Americans, but systemic racism isn’t real..

TOAST.Even if systematic racism isnt real anymore, it was still real within the past 40 years and the effects of that are still very prevalent.
skierman" And the fact that the FBI is still investigating claims made about what was found on the laptop should make it clear that Biden isn’t completely out of the woods yet."
They're investigating to see if its part of a militarized disinformation campaign by Russia our intelligence agencies warned the White House about months ago, specifically pointing out that Giuliani was being targeted to provide disinformation directly to Trump. The Mueller report didn't state there was no collusion, there were over 100 instances of Trump's campaign working with Russians. The report stated due to incompetence, it didn't rise to the level of criminal prosecution. Prove me wrong. The Mueller report clearly stated Trump obstructed justice on multiple occasions.
Good lord. Talk about turning a blind eye, you fucking turd.

CaseyI didn’t watch the whole thing but I saw some highlights and my first thought was- Trump kids are doing this like every day of the week and no one cares, I am a liberal and I don’t give a fuck what Don Jr is out there doing, you’re the presidents kid no one expects you to know or do anything except parade your name around. Why the selective outrage for Biden?
yungonaAccording to Tony, Biden was directly involved with the business deals when he was VP... It’s a foreign policy issue

CLQThe president’s daughter Ivanka Trump also won Chinese trademark approvals for her personal business after she joined the White House staff.

yungonaBut was Trump directly involved in this deal? No....
CLQWhat are your thoughts on Trump having a bank account in China?
