F I need to get a toaster ASAP. Tempted by the toaster oven but regular toasters seem superior for waffles

Its way cheaper to make stuff from scratch, if you have the time. Tastes better, too.

Flour, milk and eggs will make some really good crepes or pancakes or waffles. Then add whatever you want on top.
