Hey all,
The Stoke for skiing is getting higher each day but still lots of unknowns that haven't really been talked about. I'm super curious to hear from patrollers/forecasters/industry peeps or anyone really that might have some insight on how resorts will handle the safety side of things. (Or articles/threads that talk about these things)
For all industry people out west (thinking Canada and the US) do you think avalanche forecasting will change much this year. I know in Canada all operators share their information with each other and if resorts/heli/cat ski operations shut down or don't open I'm worried avalanche Canada won't have enough information to post confident forecasts. Then effecting all the new backcountry users (or not.... Search and rescue?)
For any patrollers out east has anyone recieved formal training or heard of any new protocols that they will be undertaking, are resorts thinking of three layers of PPE for their medical staff?
Just looking for more info so any info is appreciated!
