r00kieUnless you got crazy debt (student loans or the like) go for it. No shame in taking a season of life just to have fun, career advancement be damned. You got your whole life to save for that retirement in 40+ years.

PeppermillRenoWhy not?
Just do what you can to not have to work 6 on for 1 off. I'd try and groom or night crew snowmaking.
Get a script of adderols to sling for some pocket change.
DeebieSkeebiesWhat position are you working? On the mountain? In the lodges? Front desk? Bell man? etc
I worked lodging for about 4 years in Park City at various places and enjoyed it for the most part being a guest service/bellman/airport shuttle and ski shuttle dude, which meant lots fo running around all night to help guests/homeowners and skiing every morning before shifts which was cool. Worked mostly 3/4pm to midnight shifts which yeah, the sleep wasnt always there some nights but still able to bank about 6 hours of sleep before getting up early if you want to go take some laps.
Its becomming a lot more work than it needs to be though, in terms of wages being stagnant/low and cost of living in areas near where you work being absolutely insane, and especially now thanks to COVID. Ski bum life is only fun until you wake up and realize you're broke as shit and can barely make rent/are tired of eating ramen every night....But if its something you want to do for 6 months, have at it.
