Do I need to remount my skis when getting new boots?

So I recently bought my first pair of skis and boots. I realized I needed better boots and got em. Do I need to remount even though they are same size but different company?

Same mondo size (27.5 for example) or same BSL (315 for example) ...?

I would say generally no you don’t need a remount if the bsl is the same but if you got new equipment, getting things calibrated wont hurt.

You likely have enough forward pressure adjustment to match your new boot sole if it’s the same mondo size even with pivots.

You probably don’t need a whole new remount just for new boots. Getting the pressure calibrated by a ski shop may help and doesn’t mean you have to re drill the bindings...

the bsl might be on the side of the toe or heel block. It should be a 3 digit number

If your bsl is within like 5 mils then u won’t have to remount but there’s not a lot of room for adjustment
