Can anyone explain what the silent majority is supposed to mean? Trump is polling well below 50% so shouldn't it be the silent minority? Or is it a race thing, about how whites are the silent majority by demographics? Also how is it silent when you have the president as your mouthpiece; no one else on the planet has a louder pulpit?

Silent Majority is generally used to refer to the conservative voting block that does nothing except show up at the pooes on election day. They don't post anything polical on socials, they don't like to participate in media poles, and generally don't make politics something they worry about. Whats ironic is that there are a lot of people being very vocal about being part of the silent majority that this group is actually becoming smaller and smaller.
