Symmetrical pow skis

last winter I was riding some old ass surface balances and i love them. fully symmetrical pow skis centre mounted thats wide af. 151-122-151. I ride switch half the time everywhere I go so thats why i love them. but i was just wonering if anyone knows any more fully symetrical pow skis that are made in 2020. i saw that surface has duiscontinued this ski for 2021 so i ordered last years model because i need a new pair. i understand that companies probably dont sell many pairs of a ski like this so thats why they arent manufactured. just wondering if you guys know of any campanies that make skis like this that are dedicated pow skis. not an all mountain/park ski. my buddy also has a pair of volkl chopsticks that are old af and its a similar ski.

I'd wager that if you tried something different and more directional you'd be happier.

Check out the Faction CT 5.0, they’re not perfectly symmetrical but it’s still a twin tip with a fairly centered mount point, dimensions seems similar with your skis, 122 underfoot as well, I couldn’t recommend them enough

I am aware of other skis that aren't fully symmetrical, I own about 6 pairs of skis 4 of which are pow skis... I ski about 160 days a year and 110 days of that is on pow skis. I was just wondering if there was any company's making them. I bought arv 116s and I ended up riding my symmetrical surfaces more because I ski backwards so much and it is way nicer skiing backwards in pow with a center mount. the magic j does look real nice might try it out when I destroy my surfaces.

Wides are symmetrical if you consider 106 underfoot with massive rocker a pow ski then that’s the ski for you.

106 is too skinny for me I like 114+, makes landing cliffs easier. but i will check them out

thers little to no benifit of haveing a fully symmetrical pow ski.
