theabortionatorCrested butte before anything else. Shits not roght next to the 4 mentioned but its in the epic pass and it's the best mtn in CO on it. Tell me I'm wrong and I'll fight you.
Def worth doing all 4 of the VR mtns on 70 since they're pretty dsmn close. If you can snag a comp or cheap to abay or copper that could be fun too if you have time.
Vails pretty overrated Imo, I'd rather hit beaver creek if the snows nice. BC has a ton of terrain that nobody rides lifts that people barely go up.
Keystone has the best park on epic. Sounds like a fun trip!
MikeStreeterThanks we will have to consider taking the trip out to Crested Butte

patagonialukeCrested Butte is terrible! They don't have enough groomers, they deliberately leave ROCKS all over the snow (I almost HIT one once!), and their chairlifts aren't even heated! Plus the T-bar lift operator (who smelled like MARIJUANA) yelled at me when I fell off for the 6th time in a row and made me go all the way to the BACK of the line — even after I told him I had an Epic Pass! I left them a VERY strongly worded review on Yelp so I'm expecting Bob Katz to get back to me soon with a refund so I can go ski VAIL where their trails are not so dangerously steep!
SuspiciousFishHoly shit all the things my brain went through reading this.

skiingskisThis is legit advice except for a few things:
- Vail the mountain is actually cool. There's tons of terrain to explore. The town is terrible but there are a few good places to get food: The George, Little Diner, Garfinkles
- CB is a really really cool place, but most of the mountain doesn't open until January. Don't go to CB early season expecting to ski the whole place.

BIGPOWPAPABruh, when you ski your chairs are not supposed to be heated. That's for people who can't handle the sweet nip of frozen winter air. Seems like you should be skiing baby greens instead of complaining about a mountain that is kickass. ALSO, get used to marijuana being legal...its good for the state. Take the L

RIP_leos_shackHere's how a sample powder day would go:
6:00 AM: Breck reports 12" while other nearby areas report 6-8". While 12" may have certainly fallen on their snowstake located in the trees off of 6 Chair (hint if you actually wanna find pow), the majority of the mountain will have 2-4" and possibly stripped bare due to wind effect.
6:05 AM: (all of Denver oblivious to this information) HOLY SHIT LETS GOOO!!!!1!1!
8:00 AM: (assuming everything is fine on the roads and you make it to the mountain) Park in Airport Lot.
8:10 AM: Wait in line for bus to gondola.
8:25 AM: Get on bus.
8:35 AM: Get off bus. Get in line at gondola.
8:55 AM: Get on gondola.
9:05 AM: Get off gondola. Wait in line at Peak 7 or Peak 8 base.
9:25 AM: On the chairlift!
9:40 AM: In line at T-Bar or 6 Chair
10:00 AM: Finally at the top of some good terrain. Aw shit it's just bumps :(
