Opinions on 4frnt

Have a soft spot for 4FRNT. First pair of skis I saved up for and spent big boy money on was an older pair of them. They definitely market to a niche group of skiers but I think they make a great quiver of skis and have a progressive direct-to-consumer business model that JLev did a great job with. Huge reason they got that evaluation and acquisition by the new owners.

Last thing I’ll say is I really hope these new owners take the company in a positive direction. Sounds like they have the backgrounds and ability so it’ll be interesting to watch what happens.

Personally, I would love to rip a pair of the Devastators!

I used to love my devastators and hojis. Haven't heard much from them over the past 2-3 years. Hopefully the new owners will do a bit more to educate us on whats happening under the hood.

All their recent skis I've used have been good, particularly after they sorted out the factory changes a few years back. MSP's are great for a lot of directional skiers who don't really know what they want or just want a predictable, intuitive ski that's gonna work for a little bit of everything. Raven is an amazing touring ski as long as you're not someone who loves to carve tight turns. Renegade and Inthayne are fairly niche skis but it's cool they make them since they are perfect for certain skiers. Very excited to try the new Devastator, though I know the 10 people that bought the 194 each year are bummed that's no longer an option. And the Tour Lock system is so simple but so effective. Makes me want to channel my inner Hoji and try to do it to some other skis...

A pair of 4frnt clicks was my first ever park ski, I decided on them due to ns recommendation a long time ago. Ended up buying another pair after that and I'm still holding on to them since they aren't made anymore. I know the brand is very backcountry oriented and will continue in that direction, but they did make a affordable, durable, fun ass beginner park ski at one time. Not too much drama in the ski industry with them either, haven't heard of any crazy issues with skis or unhappy customers.

No they were green and blue, I think they were from like 2015. I remember seeing that pair tho.

I won a contest for free skis and still waiting on the skis to come in they’ve got a week till there shipping deadline, I ordered in the preorder. but they look like great skis. Should be fun to play around on

I just got the new devastators. Never skied 4frnt so I can’t give an opinion yet. There much lighter than the models I have felt before which I like. Very stiff throughout the ski so it seems it should be just as good in variable conditions as the previous models. Build quality is nice and the graphic is amazing.
