Hello, first time poster here looking for some advice.
I recently bought some K2 Mindbender 99Ti skis (177 cm) from a local shop. They didn't have the bindings I wanted (Marker Griffon 13 IDs), so they convinced me that the Tyrolia AM 12 bindings would be fine for me. While I'm happy with my ski choice, I'm beginning to wonder if I made a mistake with the bindings. I'm 5' 10", weigh 160 lbs, and am an advanced/expert skier. I like to ski everything, but primarily blacks and double blacks. I couldn't find a whole lot of information on the Tyrolia AM 12 bindings, but I did read that they are listed for intermediate level skiers.
My questions are:
1.) Does anyone know anything about the Tyrolia AM 12 bindings and if it can handle an aggressive skier like myself?
2.) If say I do return the Tyrolias and get the Marker Griffon 13 IDs, can I get them mounted in the same location (the recommended line) that the current bindings are mounted to? I hear the K2 Mindbender 99Tis don't ski well beyond the recommended mounting point (e.g., +/- 1 cm frontwards or backwards).
I'm not really sure what my best option is at this point. Any advice or additional information would be awesome. Thank you
