don't know how to do a poll so
Thumbs up for biden
Thumbs down for trump

Charlie_KellyI feel like there are a few of us in here that are just talking to the wall. It doesn’t matter what reasons we have, we are either with them or against them. Some don’t know how many times we’ve had to answer for what we are doing so they give us the same tired reasoning as to why our vote is (essentially) worth less than theirs. I’m about done with it honestly. But at least we can sleep at night knowing we didn’t contribute to, as you put it, “whichever accused rapist you think would lead this country best”. Just got my Jo sign in the mail, can’t wait to put it up.

Charlie_KellyI can play that game too! Which party...:
1. (Since you want to talk about Wisconsin) Allowed early in person voting in Milwaukee and Dane County (Highly Democrat) a week and a half earlier than the rest of the state in the spring election? Or wanted to send out mail in ballots two weeks before election? Or used “indefinite confinement” to bypass voter ID laws on absentee ballots?
2. Claimed voter suppression in the primaries in states like Georgia (highest turn out in state history) and Kentucky (highest since at least 2008) but don’t hold local officials of their own party accountable for poor organization and planning?
3. Attempting to block a vote on a Supreme Court nominee (it will fail) because it happened to their party in 2016? (Personally don’t agree with this as it’s the Presidents right to nominate Supreme Court Justices and Obama got done dirty)
4. Pushing for universal mail in ballots, ballot harvesting, and same day voter registration (all leading to potential voter fraud) on bill H.R. 1?
Its funny you want to talk about voter suppression when at least 10 million people every 4 years don’t even get represented in the presidential debates because of some arbitrary rule made up by a committee that keeps all the focus on the donkeys and elephants.
Maybe you think I like the GOP because I’m a libertarian? I don’t know but you are misguided if that’s the conclusion you come to. I’m definitely conservative but have no affiliation to the GOP or Democratic Party. They both suck, I just think one sucks more than the other. And I think one party (if they win the presidency) will begin to implement policies that affect my personal liberties (first and second amendment instantly come to mind) far more than the other party.

Mtuhockey33Dude you’re so blind to the fact that Democrats are literally no better than Republicans. They don’t give a fuck about you any more than the Republicans do.
fuck man, Obama preached to protect whistleblowers and advocated for shit like that until it happened with Snowden and then he went after the guy. I have 0 respect for any large party member. There’s a reason they got to where they are. They’ve fucked over numerous people and are in countless people/lobbyists/corporations pockets because that’s the only way they can get to where they’re at.

Mtuhockey33This is the feeling I get too... no matter what your views are or your own personal beliefs, if you’re not with them; you’re against them. Welcome to American Politics 2020. The media has done its job pretty well in dividing the nation. Personally, my morals and values won’t allow me to vote for a pedophile elite (funny how it applies to both parties) and I’d like to believe that there are people in politics that are in it to improve the country; not just spew whatever rhetoric their party wants.
.FRY.Biden isn't a pedophile though. Check your facts. Just because someone's been accused of something doesn't make it true. I could make a social media post about you being gay, and even if you're not gay, you just became an accused homosexual. Deny it all you want man, but I know you're gay.
https://www.snopes.com/news/2020/09/15/trump-biden-pedophile-twitter/
.MASSHOLE.They tried it with the Tara Reade sexual assault allegation but her inconsistent story and lack of supporting cast meant it failed to catch on. Did it happen? Who knows, but these shortcomings makes it hard to tell.
They then tried to point to all the women who said they felt uncomfortable with Biden's actions. But once again, that failed. The events fell far short of sexual assault, even if they are incredibly awkward/inappropriate.
There's a huge leap from socially inappropriate actions to being a rapist. Biden has acknowledged, publicly, that his actions have likely caused some people discomfort and he's working to change that. But to say it means he's a rapist. God damn, talk about character assassination.
—————————————————
How does this get us to Biden being a pedophile? Well, again, his socially inappropriate actions have extended to children. He's acted WAY too familiar with many of them, to the point where it's uncomfortable to watch. But again, the jump from there to pedophile is pretty large. This is the only evidence people can point to for the "pedophile" label. There was an internet rumor he owned an island next to Epstein but that quickly fell apart under scrutiny.
Mtuhockey33so it’s okay to make other people feel assaulted or uncomfortable with the way you touch them but that’s not sexual assault? I must’ve missed the lecture on that one.
also, I never said he was a rapist; I said pedophile. If you’d even watch half the videos that have come out, you’d see that the kids are uncomfortable with the way he’s touching them. I’m not a lawyer but I’m pretty sure if someone touches you inappropriately/in a way that makes you uncomfortable; it’s assault.
You hate on trump for what he’s done but protect Biden even though you admit that his actions are completely inappropriate and extend to children. Pot meet kettle.

.MASSHOLE.No, I'm literally using the phrases that every single women (outside of Tara Reade) used. That's the difference here.
"The vice-president of the United States of America had just touched me in an intimate way reserved for close friends, family, or romantic partners — and I felt powerless to do anything about it ... Even if his behavior wasn't violent or sexual, it was demeaning and disrespectful."
"There's been a lack of understanding about the way that power can turn something that might seem innocuous into something that can make somebody feel uncomfortable"
"But again, all of our interactions and friendships are a two-way street … Too often it doesn't matter how the woman feels about it or they just assume that they're fine with it."
"I can speak from experience when I say it’s an incredibly uncomfortable situation and not at all acceptable. We need to hold our men to the same standards we hold all men"
It doesn’t even really cross your mind that such a person would dare perpetuate harm like that. These are supposed to be people you can trust." (This was in conjunction with her statement about telling Biden her history with DV and SA and how his actions made her uncomfortable.)
"Only he knows his intent. If something makes you feel uncomfortable, you have to feel able to say it."
"the kind of inappropriate behavior that makes many women feel uncomfortable and unequal in the workplace."
Not a single one considered it sexual assault. They were uncomfortable, yes, and justifiably so, but this is not a pot-meet-kettle situation.
So you're making a leap from uncomfortable touching to pedophile? Got it. That's all you have to say.
Mtuhockey33I’m not sure where you’re from but people have been thrown into jail for less than “unwanted touching” here in the Midwest. But glad to know if someone wants to touch you in a way you think is inappropriate or unwanted, it’s totally fine. Got it 👌🏼

Young_pattyAs I said earlier, I’m voting 3rd party because I don’t want to force myself to pick between Biden and Trump since I would rather have neither of them be president. you may be fine with voting for one of them but I am not, and since I’ve decided to actually vote I would rather my vote go towards an actually decent person that I actually support. By all means you’re welcome to vote for whichever accused rapist you think would lead this country best- morally I do not wish to vote for either but I understand that not voting is a waste of my voice so I would prefer to vote for a party that I like instead of just mindlessly voting against another. Plus, who knows, maybe after this election 3rd party will get more traction than it has now if more people feel the same.

eheathSo you are voting 3rd party just to say you didn't vote for either candidate, sounds a little selfish don't you think? You recognize that either trump or biden will be president, right? It doesn't matter what you, or anyone thinks they allegedly did (both sides) because one of them WILL be elected president. 3rd party candidates are never going to make traction dude, that's not how our government works and if you think that's going to just change because a couple defiant millennials vote 3rd party instead of trump or biden, I dunno what to tell you brother.

Charlie_KellyMy guess would be Massachusetts.
Yeah there’s never been more than two parties that could win, that’s why Teddy Roosevelt never became president, and definitely didn’t win with only 27% of the vote.
Fuck outta here with your shitty takes eHeath.
Young_pattyGuess I don't know what to tell you either dawg, if you think I'm selfish for voting 3rd party then that's on you. I like to think that me voting 3rd party is better than not voting at all, I don't really care if trump or biden wins cause they're both shit to me. I guess what it comes down to is I value the voice I project when I vote, if you feel right voting between accused rapists then go ahead, I on the other hand just wouldn't feel right voting for either so I'm not gonna. As for your attitude towards 3rd party, it is very reflective of this whole country, people still vote 3rd party because that's the party/ candidate that they like- if you don't like it then idk what to tell ya.
abar. You realize the year that Teddy Roosevelt was elected he was running as a Republican and won 54% of the vote, right? The year he ran as a third party candidate and got 27% of the vote Woodrow Wilson won with only 42% of the vote. The same year the Republican candidate got 23% of the vote. If Teddy hadn't broken ranks with his party the Republicans would have comfortably won with 50% of the vote, but instead since there was a third party the Democrats won despite a majority of the voters not wanting them. The next election Roosevelt's third party no longer existed since they realized all they were doing was helping their opponent beat their allies. The example you gave is exactly why no more than two parties will ever be viable under our election system, all third parties do is take votes away from the major party they are closest to.
I wish this were not the case, but it is just a result of the math of how we run our elections.
eheathWhat do you mean you don't care? You like skiing right? Anyone who likes to ski should be voting for Biden as he is the only hope for climate change regulation, trump will continue to roll back regulations, give fossil fuel companies free money and continue to completely run our country into the ground. If you're cool with that, vote 3rd party.
And yes it is selfish, you want to tell people you didn't vote for either, voting 3rd party does literally nothing.
Young_pattydawg I've said twice now its a personal thing for me, just because you're comfortable voting for accused rapists does not mean I am ffs. Sure I love skiing but theres more at stake than that and I'm not about to vote for the senile, old, white guy just to spite the other senile, old, white guy.
I've been decided on this and sorry but a fat-ass behind a keyboard doggin on me for my opinion isn't gonna change my vote.
this election will play out regardless of my vote so idc a whole lot- end of the day I'm not comfortable throwing my voice behind accused rapists who I believe will do nothing but harm to this country.
I'd appreciate if you could respect my opinion the same as I respect yours, who you vote for makes no difference to me so idk why who I vote for matters so much to you
deathcookieJust wondering, what's more important to you than climate change?

Charlie_KellyYeah I’ll walk that back I was mistaken. I had recently watched a video on Teddy and conflated his Republican win with his 3rd party performance. I’ll own that. But at the same time I think it’s great what he did (I know you disagree) and wish more prominent politician had the support to make that switch.

CLQEverytime you post any sort of political take, you have the wrong facts and fail to back up to any of your claims with sources. Stick to talking about skiing retard
eheathYou're mistaking me expressing my opinion with telling you what to do. I'm saying if you don't care about climate change, then vote 3rd party. The green party has been trying to help the environment for years dude and nothing has changed, voting for them isn't going to change SHIT bro, voting for Biden will actually help put us in the right direction for climate change regulation.
Never said I didn't respect you opinion, again you're making assumptions, I dont give a fuck who you vote for, I'm just saying if you vote 3rd party, you don't care about climate change and you're cool with trump being president.

Young_pattyend of the day you’re the one admitting you support an accused rapist.
you’re supposed to vote for who you agree with not just to spite another party.
Young_pattyClassic Eheath, doesn’t listen and loves to repeat. Also I’m sure Biden will do soooo much to help the environment.
end of the day you’re the one admitting you support an accused rapist. I’ll never vote for someone like that and I’m sorry if you don’t see eye to eye with me on that but as I’ve said 3 times now I’ll never vote for someone as shitty as Biden and I don’t want either of those old fucks as our president, you just love tossing words in people’s mouth.
whatever though- I hope you’ll be able to sleep at night knowing I didn’t vote for who you wanted. You’re just a prime example of the two party system dividing our country, you’re supposed to vote for who you agree with not just to spite another party.
eheathAgain, I don't care who you vote for, you're repeating yourself too my friend. This argument about voting for an accused rapist is so tired dude, its a sorry excuse for you to be so stubborn.
And it is a fact that Biden will help the environment more than trump, because trump has no concern for the environment and supports fossil fuels.
