TowPro - Portable rope tow.. Backyard setup game changer?
looks to big and complicated to be used in urban or backyard setups. Might be cool for resorts to set up in the park as they could easily move it to better fit the set up. Or, film shoots that are using a spring park and just sessioning a few large features. Idk, I don't think I'd bet on it being to big of a thing, not sure what problem they are really solving with it.
Yeah definitely a cool idea for big backyards or something but I cant really see it being used for resorts as a permanent rope tow. Still, love the idea of making rope tows more accessible
If the idea is for this to be used for a backyard setup...building a backyard tow rope with a 50$ facebook marketplace riding lawn mower is not that difficult to do and is likely much cheaper
Would be so dope if resorts started using this it would make it so you wouldn’t always have to go on the same run over and over and hit like 10 features then just riding down and you could lap definitely wanna see this used
For a backyard setup, it'd be REALLY easy to make a DIY towrope for you and a homie or 2. Drop a post in the ground with an old car rim attached to spin on it, mount an engine on another post and put it at the other end of the hill, put a rope between em and BOOM.
My point is just that you can DIY a rig on a budget with a bit of creativity and a bit of scavenging for parts and whatnot. All my homies are out here on a budget.
