PS5 or Xbox Series X; which one are you going to get?

The PS5 will have around 9 teraflops in fp32 performance and the Xbox series X will have 12 teraflops. Either way its insane how powerful these bitches are getting.

The heatsink on the xbox series x looks pretty butch. if it was a woman she would have hair on her back.... if thats your thing... not judging

Xbox Series X. I’m already so invested in the eco system and to be able to unbox a console day one and have access to the 100s of games that I already own and have owned since the 360 is pretty hard to beat.

Xbox but ain't buying til my current system poops out or they make popular games that I want exclusive to the new system. 360 to Xbox one was a big jump because they basically forced 360 players out because there was no cross play

Idk, my friend just gave me his xbox 1 for free and it’s my first console since my 360 shat itself in like 2014 so i’m pretty content with it.

You dont think that flops are the biggest bottleneck statistic on a computer?
i guess other things besides flops could hold a comp/console back, but most things ive read seem to point to the gpu flop rating as being very determinant of how good of a high graphics gaming system it is.

This is exactly what I'm talking about, do you even know what flops are? "flops" don't bottleneck anything, the specific spec of a GPU are more important, but really real life benchmarks are all that matters. You're tricked into thinking you should care about flops when you should only care about real world performance.

I'm just saying, because one console says it has so many teraflops/more teraflops is irrelivent. The measurement for raw processing power is accurate, but that's not necessarily indicative of real life usage. thats all.

But even he kind of frames the issue as if flops do have a substantial impact on how powerful a console is, just that flops arent the whole picture but alot of it i guess?

idk. I guess different systems will have different things limiting their potential.

Charm city skatepark in baltimore used to have some incredible gta style artwork/graffiti painted on the inside walls that looks so based and timeless. I am curious where that style of art originated from.

Microsoft just bought Bethesda I am guessing with the plans to make games like Fallout and Elder Scrolls PC and Xbox exclusives. Oh yeah and they own Obsidian so maybe just maybe they can get them to make Fallout New Vegas 2.
