Tips on style

Ridiculous

I’ve always wanted to be a skier with some style. I’ve been watching vids of myself lately and I’m like holy shit I look like shit skiing. Everyone says style comes with time . But is there any more specific advice someone could give on getting it.

Once you learn certain tricks you will be able to do them easier and they will look more natural, and more stylish. I would say don't worry about it too much because it will probably come with time.

If you're trying to make a trick look nice, make sure you're reasonably comfortable doing that trick. Once you're really in control then your style should start developing

If you really care that much, just keep watching yourself through the camera and try to fix what you want. Repetition is key. Get comfortable then you can start changing things to make them better

From what I see at my local a lot of the kids that don’t have style don’t bend their knees enough so they lack power and look uncomfortable and wonky when they ride. That and they flail so just bend those knees and keep arms down, then you will eventually find your own personal style.

lvl up ur xp. Hard to introduce style if you don’t have enough tricks in your bag to play around with. Comfort with tricks comes first, grabbing your dick and banging landings comes soon after.

In my experience there are 3 main things that make or break style.

1. Actually knowing how to ski. It's hard to look good out there when you're a backseat cruiser or can't carve a turn. All the smoothest skiers can rip the whole mountain (this one is super underrated)

2. Having tricks on lock. Once you really learn a trick, you get past the stage of having to "force" it, and then it starts looking good.

3. Keeping it tight/loose. Basically, you should be strong and stacked when riding, but loose enough that you're not getting bucked by little bumps. Same thing with landings, staying strong is key, but let your whole body absorb the landing.
