I considering anything early to mid 2000s to be collectable. Personally all of the skis of this era were awesome as i was getting heavily into skiing at the time and the skis reflected that. This was the golden era of freeskiing in my opinion. I loved some o the classic line skis
dynastar concepts, original 1080s, the first 4 frnts, the first Armadas. So many cool skis back in the day
PoikenzYou want the 13's, same flex, beefier edges.
I believe the 12's are yellow/ red.
Collectible in my mind:
Olin mark IV
Salomon 1080's
Line elizabeth's
dynastar troublemakers/ 6th sense, whichever one had double edges
Hellbents
seth pistols
Mostly for graphic appeal:
05 armada line, pick any.
Og Jon Olsson pros
2010 line chronic cryptonite
any pollard graphics
Coreupt richard permin
volkl chopstick
ninthward hhp
Would you be interested in some Volkl Chopsticks?
I happen to have a pair that I might be willing to sell.
Not something I'd ever get my hands on but anyone remember when Armada did a Metallica Collab?? My local armada distributors have one in their office, so sick.
TnskiThe edges are rusted beyond my limited skills so add a base grind to the 20 I guess
If you are not worried about a "fancy" tune, just take some 220 wet sandpaper and wrap around a file or something flat. Get it wet and keep dunking it in water as you go to town on them. Use your fingers to maintain a fairly even angle.
Maybe watch some of my tuning videos.

Dynastar 6th sense super pipes were the double edged ones

Coincidentally i just subscribed to your channel so I'll find a video on the subject later. But they're pretty bad off but ill give it a shot someday, probably ski them to lessen the work load.

If you are just going to rail ride them to death, don't worry about getting too fancy, but working them over with the 220 wet paper on the base edge at least, will help you slide the rails. Really rusty edges will be pitted, and that will make them sticky.
I think only the Park Tune video is where you can see the use of the 220 wet paper.
Just poke a bit forward until you see that part.
It's super long because I showed everything, which means each step is duplicated like 7 times.
Most folks will never go to these lengths because it is a lot of work, yet the knowledge is good to know, then one can do what they like.
Oh BTW, you will need to use the search bar on my channel because of 15,000 plus videos.
Good luck!
VT_scratchhmm what's your case for why these would be collectible? I would say dynastar concepts and dynastar 1st gen trouble makers, but not these??
did you even read the quoted post? "dynastar troublemakers/ 6th sense, whichever one had double edges" 6th sense super pipes were the double edged skis

Truth. I was asked how long I spend to do a high-end park tune on a new ski for an expert rider.
Proof was needed, so here it is.
Speed it up to 2x and well............2.75! Hey, you might get some laughs. Play it at a party when you all getting faced!
little1337I would kill for a pair of 2009 Line Invaders
Dude same. That ski always eluded me for some reason, that generation was my first year getting into park skiing & those completely embodied that scene.

missed that. def don't remember these. were they that sick?

Multiple years/ models had the double edges. The poker chip ones that Brogan rode in a couple of edits were the ones I was thinking of.
The double edge concept is the only reason they are cool. Probably not collectable to most people as the double edges didn't improve durability. Just a regular park ski (not a bad thing) that was slightly heavier than a ski without extra edges.
