not a twintip historian here but I do have a collection of broken skis in my room. the Line 2006 anthem skis were printed with a graphic that strongly resembled the rock band Kiss which resulted in a lawsuit and only a relatively small number of them were ever made. Those were sent to a few sales reps, rumored to be 50 something worldwide. They also are just a sexy ski, regardless of their history.
Here's @papasteeze with a mint pair

Very interesting, thanks, are the white k2 enemies at all collectable?
2011/2012 atomic punx. Back when they were semi noodles. Some friends of mine had them and I used them a bit but never owned them myself. Was gonna buy a pair and then noticed they converted them to comp jock 2x4's.
I also have 2 pairs of Seth Pistols, some 2006 Line Invaders, 2011 Ninthward HHP, and a pair of early 2000's handmade K2 factory test skis.

How could I forget about the jon Olson pros, every time 13 year old me googled them I’d get a boner
I have some old Salomon Pocket Rockets. They were the first twin tip pow ski that was produced. (Or one of the first). The 2007 4FRNT VCTs in the middle are probably vintage by now too but they still rock.

Crazy to think how 90 underfoot used to be a powder ski.

Its interesting how it was designed. Its 90 underfoot and pretty stiff with wide floppy 'paddles' at the tip and tail. The front paddle keeps the tips up in powder while the stiff mid section keeps it stable. You can watch CR Johnson rock them on some sketch lines and if you watch the skis you can see the tips ride up in the snow:
I demo ed the first year pocket rockets back in the day and they should have named tgem the"popet rockets " because they were a poppy ski then, tails were a tad stiff if i remember right idk.

I have a few broken pairs in my "collection" but nothing classic. Some skis that were so cool I might consider them collectable that come to mind:
- Volant Spatulas
- 1st gen & Shane tribute K2 Pontoons
- Line Elizabeths
- 1st gen? Line EP Pros (the white ones with the tree)
- Armada JJ (first year with Elf Shoe Tech)
- 1st and 2nd gen K2 Hellbents
- ON3P Pillowfights
- Rossignol Bandits (not super cool but definitely a classic)

TnskiI think 01 ish? "enemy" ,this is what I'm referring to
I have the black version of these on my wall upstairs. First real twin tip I ever owned. I got the first public enemy next I actually want to remount those up and revive them lol
The 2002 Rossignol Scratch fs were the coolest skis, the red and yellow ones of the girl silouette. Tannee Hall made those skis look so good in ski movie 3. I had the 2003 model and they lasted over 10 years.

I know it was much later but what year was the Rossi scratches that had the construction tape? I feel like I used to see those a lot they were pretty sick
Got a pair of these in my garage I found at a yard sale last year.

Do you know anything about the white version, I remember the black ones but never seen white ones
I’m on my fourth pair of bibby pros / wildcats and am always looking to buy another set. Been my daily driver for a decade. Potentially I’d like to collect all 10 years of bibbys to make a wall/fence with the jack n jill artwork storyline...

I think they came out in like limited production the year prior- Maybe like 98/99 I never saw too many pros on the white ones mostly all the enemy’s were black but knew a guy that had the white ones that said he won them in a comp so maybe it was like that.
I know the enemy was basically the same ski as the k2 Xplorer except it had a twin tip. The white ski, black ski, and the eagle ski are all the same they didn’t change anything until the public enemy came out in like 02/03
great posts in here. I don’t have any kind of collection but at my parents house I still have: orange 1260s, original public enemies, original seth pistols (yellow), original scratch fs (red with yellow girl silhouette), original armada t halls. would love some OG scratch bc’s and troublemakers, always wanted those head mad trix as well

I remember going to the ski shop and getting a pair of Pocket Rockets for Christmas. The salesman emphasized how "poppy" they were off jumps to the point I was paranoid the first few times I hit a feature with them.

They definitely have a certain pop to them, I actually used mine as park skis when I got my VCT's. They were good for buttering and to pop on to rails etc. They sure chattered a lot on ice and crud though.

Thanks for the info I pulled the trigger on these today 15$
