here's the story, last year a snowboard friend and i heard about a jib comp on seymour (another park jam). we were both living in whistler at the time and we called ahead to get the scoop. they claimed there was a skier category and a boarder category. we rolled down the next morning and i was shocked to see myself as the lone skier. the dudes at the comp ended up being chill and let me compete in the boarder category however. i ended up making them recognize the force of the two planks and taking down a disputable second place. anyways, i'm thinking about crashing the event again this year. i'd like to enlist the aid of fellow skiers in this endeavour (heh) as it'd be way chill to shred with fellow two plankers. i'm going to call the mountain tomorrow and find out what's up. i'll post tomorrow and fill in with more details. peace.
