I've narrowed down my ski selections to those. I needta know. I want something that is as good in backcountry or really heavy pow(livin out EASTSIDE), as they are in the park. Also another question, is there any difference between Scratch BC, or Pocket Rocket, cuz they have the same dimensions.

i rode the pocket rockets last year...they were pretty sick. They handled well during 2 weeks of no stop powder days as well as a 2 week drought spent in the park and pipe. Most people will tell you that they suck in the pipe, but i was having no problems with them...though i'm sure the scratch fs or something like that would perform better. Oh you said Heavy snow...the rockets were pretty soft and hard to control in really heavy snow..i assume motherships would be pretty soft too.

Pocket Rockets are pretty sick, but soft. The Darkside is also soft but I liked it a shitload better than the Pocket Rocket. Haven't tried the other two but the thing you gotta remember is that they are very wide skis, fun though, my choice would be the mothership. But you gotta try them all and see what ya think.

I thought the pocket rockets sucked, and if you're skiing east coast the lines will also be way to soft. I'd demo the scratch bc, also the stomps they are a pretty damn good ski

i have skied all four skis
cross of the stomp
not wide enough for powder and too stiff for the park or pipe.
add the seth pistol to your list though
none of them are great pipe skis.
they all can handle themselves in the park well
powder wise again they all are good really good
but my favorite (except seth pistol have not skied yet) was the pocket rocket simply because of the way it turned in the powder and it can hold an edge on even the grommed shit.
the bc same dimentions but in my opinion was more sluggish and slow turning wise and i dont like the way the ski land in the park (it pops nice though)the best pop of all.
the mothership was second in all categories in my opnion.
second best in powder to the pocket only cus the pocket turned better the mother floated great.
second in the park it is just so fat underfoot.
and second on carving the rest of the montain again 97mm waist.
in conclussion i would pick the pocket rocket with the mother coming a close secon an the bc not far behind that.
P.S. Remeber k2 has the seth pistol which sounds sweet but we will have to wait and see what happens.

the scratch BC and the pocket rocket are totally different skis, they might have the same dimensions, but thats it. The scratch is a stronger ski, and the slanted sidewalls allow it to carve way smoother then the PR's. the scratch BC is definitly your best pick.

you should definitely get the atomic stomps. they are so sweet. they are for sure the best backcountry twin out there because they are Atomics. the salomons are too soft. rossi sucks.
Get the stomps!

Thanx for your opinions. I really gotta add the seth pistol on my list, cuz it does sound pretty promising.
