Ive met acouple of people who have had there bindings set right in the middle of there skis so they have an equal amount of ski poking out from the toe and the heel.
They claim that it gives you much better stability riding switch is there any truth in this?????
Plus if you gain stability riding switch do you lose a bit goings forwards.
p.s. if anyone wants to check out some of my photos ive just uploaded my first ever batch (how exciting :) )

This thread has helped me make my decision on where to mount my bindings.
Thanks for all the input.

djxtreame, you do have seniority. and you might want to mout them where the company said, b/c that's where they designed them. the sidecut and durability will be affected if you mount them incorrectly

If you wanna mount your bindings in the center for jibbing and a bit back for pow you could get the new Pivogy binding by Line...they're making all their new skis with a bunch of holes in them so you can mount your Pivogy's on different places. and switch them between different pairs of Line skis.....they're also supposed to be revolutionary in preventing knee injuries...they rotate backwards or something but if they could help prevent a knee injury we all know that it's a good thing.
