North Shore is an area in British Columbia. There's no ''North Shore'' riding in halifax, only in North Shore. If you're looking for mountain biking with some good features, your best bet is Whopper Drop past the armdale rotary towards Bayer's Lake. Its pretty close to Bayer's Lake on the left when leaving the city.

back in the day when i used to bike, jack's lake was a pretty hoppin spot. it's just off of the hamonds plain road before bedford.

North shore is a style of mountain biking named after the North Shore of British Columbia where it was originally started. It involves ladder bridges, and manmade wooden features built in the woods. Jack's lake is aight.

or, you could come to the north shore of BC to ride the shit where it all started. we shuttle 8000 foot peaks for 5000 foot decents, most of which are singletrack that starts in the alpine, in 20cm of snow, and ends at the valley floor. or just pussy out and ride in the bike park... which does have it's fair share of scare. aka clown shoes, and freight-train (the new upper section of a-line, which makes a-line look like a bunny hill)
