this jump is huge, sweet long landing and a nice kick, mesures out 52 feet of flat on top of it.

bitch please...my back mute has more style in it then all your tricks combined. You talk so much game man, but no ever seem's to be around to back you up? I just think the scene at Crabbe needs someone to push it. To look at jumps and rails different, not just with switch 270's on, but the tail slides, the diasters, etc...our sport has come such a long way...Crabbe is getting left behind. Tell you what dude, I'll compete next year, when I have the time, and if you beat me in any big air OR SS comp, I'll give you $100 for every position you come higher than me...

i hate to be the mom, but you boys should just shut the fuck up. i don't have a problem with either of you, but this isn't a place to just rip peoples skiing apart. everyone has their own style of tricks and style. no ones is better, some people think some peoples is better, but that's just their opinion.

iam just tired of it man all he does is tear us apart, were pushing eachother to learn new shit crabbe skiiers should be pushing podiums next year, i always have to stick up for us against snowboarders at our hill i dont need it from a skiier, its redicoulous

Hey dylan, chill the fuck out...man, it's so fucking hilarious to see how you react to everything I say...fuck man, it's entertaining for me, I don't think I'd even come to this forum if it wasn't for you. Hahahaha...I hate form bashing shit, but when it's Dyaln it's different...he gets so into it.

Anyway, as for the Crabbe comp, let's review...first place took it with a penciled out 7, then second with a 7 mute and 3rd with a big 3. Maybe I'm crazy, but I could have sworn I saw those tricks in Degenerates, judging on the east blows from personal experience and from what I'm hearing from others. Big up to Wentworth cause I don't hear any complaints from their comps, they must be doing something right.

Yeah there's been some bad calls, if they spend so much time making BIG jumps why don't they take time to organize the judging by getting intelligent skiiers to judge the comps...?

our comp was run really well, we had food cards for lunch,discounts on lift tickets for people without passes, sleds that pull us up to the top, and tons of sponsers so everyone at least got a t shirt or a movie or something

but the judging format was fucked up, they picked random kids to judge and they just picked their friends to win,

Yeah the bottom line is that it's a compitition, it doesn't need serious olympic structure or anything just some well-rounded knowledge that can provide fair/accurate judging. I know it's hard to find 'good' judges because ppl compete and have other obligations but if it's planned well in advance then it wouldn't be a problem...

wow this is stupid...the biggest thing holding back the east coast right now is the competitions...when other places are holding jib fests and slopestyle we still have BIG FUCKing AIR..and when we hae slopestyle people still huck. I totally agree with Ferg..we need guys who know what's going on to judge our comps....i'm so sick of guys pulling out 7s in competition....there are soooooooooooooooooooooooo many guys who can throw 7s but they don't choose to because it's not a big trick....so can someone explain why the fuck they are wining comps in our coast..fuck man we're 2 season behind in terms of knowledge and progression.

yeah man, like seeing hucked flaily no grab sketch 9's beat nice looking 5s with good grabs is stupid. and 1080's should be banned, unss youre doing them corked or something. i hate this. everywhere else is progressing, but these kids still think hucking is the way to go, and why is no one skiing pipe, it's the place where skiing can prgress the most.

our comps if anything need to show progression.. they are a chance to showcase new tricks...im not one to talk cause i haven't done a new trick in 2 yrs but everyone goes to our comps to win the money (which is smart) --the problem is the judges are allowing hucks and spins to win.
wow.
oh ya.
a zero kills a 7 anywhere anytime anyday..for anyone judging in the future.

what i want to see on the forms is a place which asks which is the naturel and unaturel spins, and the same with slides. If someone throws a unnaturel slide 270 out, i don't want to see it get beat by a switch on naturel slide. Unnaturel is really a possibility that no one is trying, instead of learning 3's, then saying, 'now, for the 7's', the kids should say, ' now the other way'.

shaun nailed it with the judging ideas - natural/unatural. we have thought of that, but the judges would not be quick or knowledgable to pick that stuff up anyway. dylan...if you like big air, then thats cool..hit big airs..shaun if you like doing a lot of dirrerent tricks keep doing alot of different tricks, its all about doin what makes you feel good. that is what keep you going back. our park and pipe season is so short we should all just focus on what we are good at. the most diverse skiers are the ones that can accomplish what they want through the year. if your goal is to learn rails, then learn rails. if your goal is to do a back flip, learn one. and if your goal is not to get loaded at the ski hill and break your back then cut your visas. but hey who does that stuff. anyway boys, it been a great chat, and remember that we have lots of good things going on in the east. lets all keep pushing our hills forward and expose them to things that are happening around the globe with parks and pipe...how many of the hills acually know the snow it takes to make areal park?
